The Sony Ericsson Xperia Play is the first smartphone/game console hybrid, and it seems that it offers the best of both worlds. Of course you are not restricted to the Playstation classics; many new games will surely appear before too long and 50 of them are promised by the UK launch date.

Sony Ericsson Xperia Play – the best of both worlds?

Do you seek the Best Puzzle and Detective games for Nintendo DS? Then I highly recommend this Professor Layton and the unwound future game (or some people said it’s Professor Layton 3), the Best Puzzle games ever made in this world (Yeah, I’m serious, I never found better puzzle games then this). You can find hundreds of unique, creative, mind challenging puzzle combined with nice storyline. While playing games, you will see great animation, beautiful voice works and hear classic instrumental song. This game is the third episode of this series, continuing the first and second series. If you haven’t played the first and second episode, you still can understand the story clearly. However, I really recommend you to play all the games because they’re just pure awesome.

In this game, you will play as Professor Layton and Luke, the everlasting assistant. You will get strange message from the Future Luke that need your help. Then you follow the direction of the letter, and boom! You arrive in future and find the big Luke. And how about the future (and older) Layton? You will find out that Luke actually need help to stop evil Future Layton doing something terrible, that’s why he call himself in the past.

For the puzzle, I must say it’s one of the best too Unlike the prequels, you will find more original puzzle, not only classic puzzle with a little twist. If you love mechanical puzzle, you will also love this game because there are some puzzle about it. The puzzle difficulty is not different IMHO, you still can find easy puzzle but there are also hard to solve hidden puzzle. In this game, you will also get new mini games, and believe me the Mini games is harder than the prequels, especially the parrot mini game. Y0u will understand why I say that when you have played on your own.

Overall, I give 9 of 10 rating of this game. It may a little subjective, but this is my favorite DS game so far, and I award this game (along with the other series) as the best puzzle games 2010 and best detective games 2010 for Nintendo DS. The retail price of this game $29.99

PS: This game is actually the end of Professor Layton trilogy (If you miss the prequel go read professor layton and curious village review and professor layton and diabolical box review). However, this is not the end of Professor Layton franchise. There is other series that takes a few years before the 1st game, where Luke and Professor Layton first met. There is also the Movie and the upcoming game will be released for Nintendo 3DS!

Yet again it just works, no frills, no special ability’s. Just a good no nonsense handset with albeit limited Smartphone capability.

If you are looking for a very reasonably priced upgrade phone to check out the basics of the Smartphone revolution you can’t go wrong with the pearl. In fact, if you’re just looking for a decent phone, take a look at this one.
