Barbie was always a favorite of mine as a kid and helped spark my imagination. I understand how some people have had negative feelings about her tiny waist or her blond hair, but I think if you look at her as the doll that she is she can bring lots of joy to little girls who love to pretend play. I got my daughter a doll house from http://www.classicdollhouses.com/dollhouse-accessories.html and gave her some barbies to use with it and she will play with them and her dollhouse for hours.
