That sounds like the kind of kitchen gaget I would use. I wonder if it would fit beside my breadmaker? Probably too tall :)

Aquarius Says:

My brother has been into beer making as a hobby for many years now and he is getting very very good at it. I don’t know what his recipe is but he usually makes a dark lager. He has the big commercial breweries beat. I keep trying to talk him into going professional because the beer he makes is just great. There is just nothing like fresh home brewed beer.

Adam Says:

I bought one of these kits before. They are not that great. You need some real brewing tools. At least a 5 gallon bucket and a glass jar for fermenting.

I was on one blog were there was a big discussion on how to make your own beer. I thought those guys were overreacting and just being silly. But now seeing this product that people actually buy…guess I just didn’t know.

KC Says:

I always wanted to try brewing my own beer. But I am not much of a beer drinker. But it sounds cool to make your own beer.

Stefanie Says:

I remember getting my dad one of those years ago… although I don’t remember if he used it or not! Part of me can’t help but think it wouldn’t taste too great, but I’m not a fan of beer to begin with.

Justin Says:

Sounds awesome. I don’t drink beer too often these days, but I may need to check this out.

Rob Says:

This looks pretty cool, I might actually get this for my brother who has a birthday coming up.

Peter Says:

Looks great. I am considering taking it for my farther:)

Kaile Says:

zomg. That has to be one of the coolest products I’ve seen reviewed in a long time. I’m very picky when it comes to beer - but the fact that I made it myself would make me drink it. lol.

I wonder if it has a decent alcohol content, since you’re doing it yourself.

Tokyo Says:

I didn’t know this sorta thing existed! I wish they’d sell this in Japan - or maybe I can just buy it online…I’ve tried making my own sake once but that didn’t quite work out as expected lol.

Clarocet Guy Says:

My wife has banned me from brewing beer due to the “gurgling” sound. Also, i am now banned from playing ‘loud’ and ‘violent’ video games without headphones.

I never thought that once married that they could just ban things.

I need to join a beer brewing club I guess.

Thanks.

Johnnie Says:

Since Fathers days will be here soon, this gift might be something i would get for my dad. My only worry is that the taste will be awful…lol.
