I don’t know about other parts of the world but here in Ireland when you travel you have the option of staying in a house with a family and experiencing a more authentic taste of Ireland. Such bed and breakfast accommodation can be found all over the country from Kerry to Dublin and from Cork to Belfast, usually cheaper than a hotel too.
